PathfinderZA (Pty) has developed a UGS sensor that is the size of a coffee cup and fully concealable. These sensors may be deployed in unsecured, rural settings to sense and report seismic activity within a 20 m radius. A notification is sent to our app when vehicles or footsteps are detected. One of the benefits is that you don’t need existing power infrastructure to use the sensors.

Each battery-powered sensor has a lifespan of approximately 24 months and operates unattended.

This proven technology is now available for commercial security applications — such as in guarded facilities, for securing oil & gas infrastructure (including anti-poaching), border patrol operations, and more. Multiple sensors can be deployed to form an intelligent fence line at known choke points. When a sensor is triggered, a pinpoint alert is displayed on a map. The monitoring data may also be integrated into custom command & control software.

With our UGS system, you’ll know exactly where and when your perimeter has been breached, allowing rapid response by guards or UAV deployment, or even simple logging of intrusion events.
